A reminder about our RIDE LEVELS, which go from moderately easy to quite challenging … all led by experienced guides. You can check the ride level in each Meetup post https://www.meetup.com/bike-club-switzerland/events/

Our Saturday morning groups:

🚲 RELAXED: Riding mostly on quiet back roads for pleasure, scenery and socializing
Pace: moderate
Distance: 45 to 60 km
Climbing: rolling hills, elevation gain 400 to 700 meters.
Coffee break: yes, we’re very sociable!

🚲 MODERATE: Pleasure and scenery are primary motivations, with emphasis on a workout
Pace: moderately fast
Distance: 60 to 80 km
Climbing: a series of climbs, elevation gain 500 to 1000 meters
Coffee break: usually

🚲 CHALLENGING: These rides will get your heart rate going!
Pace: fast
Distance: 80 to 110 km
Climbing: multiple climbs, elevation gain 1000 to 1800 meters.
Coffee break: sometimes

🚲 PEAK: These rides will test your limits!
Pace: quite fast
Distance: 100 to130 km
Climbing: some big climbs, elevation gain 1500 to 2000 meters.
Coffee break: sometimes

Spring weather is most definitely here! ☀️ We had 4 groups riding last Saturday for the first ride of the season, blowing away the Winter cobwebs and reminding us why being on the bike makes us feel so great 💪🏼

Have you visited the "Bike Club Switzerland" group on Meetup lately? Registration is free and signup for our rides is easy!
Thursday evening rides are usually posted on Tuesday. Saturday rides are usually posted on Thursday. Meetup.com can tell you as soon as the routes are posted.
Find the route/pace/elevation that suits you and click, "attend". (Spaces are limited so please register for one event at a time)
If an event is full you can join our waiting list. Meetup will inform you in advance when we have a cancellation
