In December 2025, under the guidance of the Mayor of Blatten Village and a representative from Zermatt Tourism, the tourism organization of Zermatt City, with which we have a comprehensive partnership agreement, Isamu Tatsuno, CEO and Founder of Montbell, visited the site to assess the extent of the damage.

In appreciation of the warm support extended by Zermatt Tourism during the Noto Earthquake in Japan, Montbell has donated CHF 5,000 from the
Montbell Club Fund
to Blatten Village this month as disaster relief funds, with heartfelt wishes for the recovery and reconstruction of the affected communities.

We sincerely hope that the affected area will recover swiftly and that peaceful daily life will soon return to the villagers.
