The Reformer, Tower and Stability Chair use springs as a way to create resistance during exercise, working the muscles in a concentric and eccentric way. The equipment is versatile and works different muscles simultaneously which, in turn, challenges coordination, the balance and the control of the body. Pilates is a wonderful workout in itself and complements other forms of exercise. ☺️

Hello, I am Esther Meerman and I am a Pilates Instructor at my studio Espace Pilates Mind Your Body.
My first experience with Pilates dates back to 2006 in Manilla, The Philippines. I was hooked instantly. A regular Pilates practice of 2-3 times per week helped me not only tone my body and develop a good balance between strength and flexibility, but Pilates also helped me reduce stress and reconnect with my body.
With its focused and conscious approach to physical exercise, Pilates helps people to practice mindful movement and to experience how this increases the efficiency and the benefits of this type of exercise.
In 2011 I finalized an intensive training program and I have been teaching ever since. I update and optimize my classes by continuous education and keeping myself informed about new developments in the field of Pilates.
Located in the beautiful and green Mon-Repos area in Lausanne, I welcome clients to my boutique Pilates studio.
