How Breaking is judged at WDSF events?

WDSF Breaking Judging System (Level A)

Breaking performances are evaluated at the WDSF events across 5 equally weighted categories (20% each):

🔹 Technique – athleticism, body control, dynamics, form
🔹 Vocabulary – variety, range of movements, minimal repetition
🔹 Ex*****on – cleanliness, consistency, successful completion of moves
🔹 Musicality – rhythm, timing, synchronization with the music
🔹 Originality – creativity, innovation, improvisation, personality

The aim is to reward not only difficulty, but also the complete artistry of Breaking: how athletes move, adapt, create, and connect with the music
