From the camp to Foro Italico, every moment reminded us that hope has no borders. Pope Leo welcomed us with warmth, listened to our stories, and gave us his blessing for the road ahead.

Roma 2026, and the mats felt like home 🇮🇹 THF Refugee Team stood tall at the Kim & Liù Tournament, where every kick, every breath, every round taught us resilience. We came to compete, but we left with family and respect — fighting for more than medals, fighting for hope and unity. Honored to meet FITA President Mr. Anglo Cito and share our story. Grazie FITA for believing in refugee athletes and our dreams. From the training hall to the competition floor, we gave our all. This tournament showed the world our spirit has no borders. Roma was just the beginning. THF Refugee Team is ready for what’s next 💙

10 years of THF. Tens of thousands of lives changed.
Today the THF Board met at FISU headquarters in Lausanne to mark our 10th anniversary and approve the next chapter. New education programs for 120 students in Azraq camp, renewed athlete grants for LA2028 qualification, and expansion to more vulnerable communities worldwide.
Taekwondo isn’t just sport. It’s confidence, dignity, and hope for refugee youth.
