The countdown is on! 🌪️

From 28–30 January 2027, the world's best indoor skydivers will meet once again at Windoor Realfly Empuriabrava, Spain, for one of the sport's most iconic competitions. Athletes will go head-to-head across multiple disciplines, pushing the limits of precision, speed, and teamwork in an unforgettable showcase of indoor skydiving.

Whether you're competing, coaching, or cheering from around the world, The Wind Games promises three days of world-class performances and incredible talent.

Focus on Canopy Piloting 🪂

Canopy piloting pushes precision flying to the limit, combining speed, control, and accuracy under high-performance canopies.

Athletes approach the course at high speed, using technical input and timing to convert altitude and energy into distance, speed, or accuracy through the gates and water.

As one of the most dynamic disciplines in skydiving, swooping continues to evolve through progression, training, and international-level performance standards within competitive canopy piloting.

Accuracy skydiving is one of the oldest competitive disciplines in the sport and one of the most precise. 🎯

The goal? Land as close as possible to the center of a target just a few centimeters wide, using only your canopy skills, judgment, and control. Every jump tests an athlete's ability to read the wind, plan the perfect approach, and touch down with pinpoint accuracy.

🪂 101 Skydivers. One Formation. One Historic Achievement.

In April 2023 at Skydive Perris, California, 101 skydivers came together to successfully complete a breathtaking formation skydive, setting a new benchmark in the sport. Every slot, every grip, and every second in freefall reflected the precision, discipline, and teamwork required to build a formation of this scale.

Large formation skydives are among the most demanding achievements in our sport, requiring months of preparation, flawless ex*****on, and complete trust between every participant.

Congratulations to all the skydivers, organizers, pilots, camera flyers, judges, and supporters who made this remarkable achievement possible.

🏆 USPA National Skydiving Championships – Canopy Formation

The best Canopy Formation teams from across the United States will come together to compete for the National Champion Title at the 2026 USPA National Skydiving Championships.

The competition will feature three sub-disciplines: Canopy Formation – 4-Way Rotation, Canopy Formation – 4-Way Sequential, and Canopy Formation – 2-Way Sequential, putting precision, speed, and teamwork to the test across multiple rounds.

The competition will also feature a Pro-Am class, giving novice skydivers the opportunity to compete alongside an experienced teammate while gaining valuable insight into the world of canopy formation competition.

Throughout the event, teams will build complex canopy formations where timing, accuracy, and seamless coordination make the difference between the podium and the rest of the field.

A new milestone in Canopy Formation history! 🥳

The skydiving world celebrates the incredible achievement of the 104-way Canopy Formation World Record, the largest canopy formation ever built.

On 22 November 2025, 104 skydivers from 17 countries came together to create a record-breaking diamond formation, surpassing the previous 100-way record that had stood for 18 years.

After years of preparation, training camps, and hours dedicated to perfecting teamwork and precision, the formation successfully built 187 grips, stood nearly 300 feet (91 m) tall, and was held complete for approximately 20 seconds.

This achievement represents the very best of canopy formation: technical excellence, trust, communication, and the power of a truly international team. The record brought together athletes with more than 548,000 combined canopy formation jumps, proving that collaboration and dedication continue to push the limits of our sport.

Congratulations to all athletes, organizers, judges, pilots, camera flyers, and supporters who made this historic achievement possible. 👏
