Happy Mother’s Day! Today, we celebrate the incredible women who make our community stronger, both on and off the water.
To the moms, mentors, and mother figures: thank you for being the loudest cheerleaders, most patient coaches, and constant source of inspiration. Whether you’re on the water, the dock, in the boat, or supporting from afar, your impact is immeasurable.
We also hold space today to honor and remember the mother figures we have lost, cherishing the legacy and love they left behind.
Thank you for educating, supporting, and leading the way. We celebrate you today and every day! 🤍

IWWF Mourns Isidro “Bilo” Oliveras
The IWWF expresses its deep sorrow at the passing of Isidro “Bilo” Oliveras, former IWSF (now IWWF) President and 2011 IWWF International Hall of Fame inductee.
Isidro Oliveras began waterskiing at the age of 12 and went on to claim six Spanish national titles in Slalom and Tricks between 1959 and 1975. His lifelong commitment to the sport extended far beyond competition. He served as Technical Director and President of the Spanish Federation, held senior roles within the IWSF in the European & Middle Eastern Region, and became IWSF President from 1983 to 1991. His leadership also reached the wider sporting world through his service on the Olympic Movement Commission and as President of the International Roller Sports Federation.
The IWWF extends its sincere condolences to his family and remembers "Bilo" as a remarkable leader whose dedication significantly contributed to the growth of sport worldwide.
