Two weeks of intense and productive work in Lausanne for the Vijayi Bharat Foundation (VBF) team. 🙌🏼

During their training camp in Lausanne, the team from India made full use of the tools and expertise available at the World Archery Excellence Centre. The camp focused on shooting form fundamentals, competition mindset, equipment tuning and the details that make a difference at the highest level. 🎯

They leave Lausanne ready for the upcoming competitions, with a clear understanding of the next steps towards even greater goals. ⭐️

Their camp was also another reminder of the depth of talent and potential in Indian archery, and of the role the Centre can play in helping athletes from around the world in their development. 🌏

Registration is open for the 2026 World Archery Coaching Conference. This year's theme, Technique Meets Technology, will feature prominently across the programme, alongside practical workshops with new tools, presentations by world-leading coaches and unique networking opportunities.

The Coaching Conference complements World Archery's 3-level coaching courses, giving coaches the opportunity to exchange ideas and experiences.

The conference will take place at the World Archery Excellence Centre, in Lausanne, Switzerland, from 27 until 29 November 2026.

Early bird prices are available until 30 September.

🏹 Notre événement approche enfin !

Le samedi 22 août 2026, le World Archery Excellence Centre vous ouvre ses portes à Lausanne pour une journée de découverte gratuite du tir à l’arc.

Il est désormais possible de réserver gratuitement votre place pour l’une de nos initiations de 30 minutes, encadrées par des coachs expérimentés. Tout le matériel est fourni, et les séances sont adaptées aux enfants dès 5 ans.

La réservation n’est pas obligatoire, mais elle est fortement recommandée : l’événement suscite déjà beaucoup d’intérêt et nous nous attendons à accueillir beaucoup de monde ce dimanche.

En plus des initiations, vous pourrez profiter de visites guidées de nos installations, découvrir notre jeu de tir à l’arc virtuel et assister à des démonstrations de tir à 70 mètres par des archers professionnels.

The Beiter Wednesday72 is back!

With spring finally here, it is time to shoot outdoors again.

Until September, archers of all levels can join Wednesday afternoon 72-arrow rounds at the World Archery Excellence Centre — official outdoor competitions with world record status.

You can register in World Archery age divisions, as well as Under-15, Under-13, and Beginners at 25 metres.

New for 2026: the Beiter Gold Game, where the winner gets a package of Beiter nocks 😎 With all disciplines and categories competing together, everyone has a chance to win.

Successful conclusion of the first coaching courses of 2026 ✅

14 coaches from India and one from Chinese Taipei attended the World Archery Level 2 course in Lausanne.

Practical, hands-on and interactive, the course received very positive feedback from participants.

Ganesh Vishwakarma, one of the participants, gifted a bow he made to the World Archery Centre. It is a traditional Indian bow made of bamboo and used at the grassroots level by thousands of archers across India. The bow was presented to World Archery's head of development, Siret Luik, and will now be on display for all visitors.
