Behind every doping control is a team of dedicated professionals working to protect the integrity of one of sport's most iconic events. At the Grand Départ in Barcelona, our anti-doping experts and Doping Control Officers have been preparing for three weeks of intelligence-led testing designed to protect a level playing field for all riders.
As part of the Grand Départ, we also welcomed members of the media inside the Tour's Doping Control Station, offering a behind-the-scenes look at the sample collection process and the safeguards in place to ensure every test is carried out in accordance with the highest international standards.
A big thank you to all ITA colleagues, Doping Control Officers and the many chaperones whose professionalism and commitment make this program possible every day.
