The World Archery Executive Board met last weekend in Lausanne. It was our first full meeting since the world championships in Korea, and I was very proud to be back with my colleagues on the board, who are so committed to growing our sport around the world.

Our discussions were open and positive, with a clear focus on athletes, development, education, and how we can better support and serve our member associations.

The meetings took place at the Olympic Museum and Olympic House, where we were honored with a warm welcome from IOC President Kirsty Coventry, reinforcing the importance of close collaboration with the International Olympic Committee as we look to the future.

Wishing everyone a great end to the year, and I’m excited to see what we can achieve, together, in 2026.

I have been spending time at the World Archery office and World Archery Excellence Centre in Lausanne, where I have been busy learning and meeting people across the organization and wider Olympic Movement, discussing how we can work better together towards a bright future for the sport.

I am deeply honored and grateful to have been elected President of World Archery. Thank you to all members of our global archery community for your trust, your support, and your belief in our shared vision.

Over the past months, I’ve had the privilege of engaging with leaders from more than 110 countries. These conversations have reinforced my belief in the strength of our community and the incredible opportunities we have when we work together.

As we start this exciting new chapter, I’m looking forward to working closely with the Executive Board, our Member Associations, and our partners to keep moving the sport forward, embrace new ideas, and grow archery around the world. Success will take all of us working together – with openness, collaboration, and a shared commitment to the values that bring us together.

I’m excited to get to work and ensure that World Archery reflects the energy, dedication, and vision of our global community. Thank you again for your trust and support. Let’s build a brighter future for archery, together and on point.
