Congratulations to .swiatek Runner-Up of the Samsung Open 2019 on winning the French Open 2020🏆 what a success👏👏👏

Due to the WTA's shortened spring calendar in 2020 and the introduction of a new Fed Cup format into that part of the calendar, we regret to announce that we will no longer organize our WTA tournament in Lugano. We are enormously grateful to the Tennis Club Lido Lugano and Campo Marzio, the city of Lugano and Lugano Region, Swiss TV, our sponsor partners and Swiss Tennis for their input, advice, support and understanding throughout this process. We also thank the top players who showcased their talents to a very appreciative audience in the Ticino region.

Wir bedauern ihnen mitteilen zu müssen, dass das Internationale WTA Turnier von Lugano im 2020 nicht stattfinden wird.

Aufgrund des verkürzten Frühlingkalenders der WTA und der Einführung des neuen FED Cup Formates, bedauern wird, dass wir das WTA Turnier in Lugano im 2020 nicht mehr organisieren können.

Unser grosser Dank gilt dem Tennis Club Lido und Campo Marzio, der Stadt Lugano und der Region Lugano, dem Schweizer Fernsehen, unseren Sponsoren und Partnern und Swiss Tennis. Wir danken für ihren Input, Ratschlag, Support und Verständnis während den letzten Jahren.

Siamo spiacenti di informarvi che il torneo WTA di Lugano non avrà luogo nel 2020.
La WTA ha apportato importanti modifiche al calendario, tra i quali l'inserimento di un nuovo format per la Fed Cup nella primavera 2020.
Per questo motivo, siamo spiacenti di comunicare che il torneo non verrà riproposto l'anno venturo.
