«The perfect man breathes as if he were not breathing» - Lao Tzu
Breathing is the first act of life and the last thing we do before leaving this life.
We live our lives between two breaths; hence breathing regulates everything in between.
In these four hours you will experience and practice different breathing techniques (Buteyko, Dao Yin, Qigong etc.) that will help you to find your own breathing patterns necessary for a healthy daily life.
It will also incorporate Pilates exercises on the Reformer and Mat which adds a physical dimension to the workshop.
Pilates is known for its emphasis on core strength, flexibility, and controlled movements. Integrating different breathing patterns into Pilates exercises can enhance awareness, performance, and mind-body connection as well as improve your overall practice.
It will have an immersive experience, providing ample time for participants to not only learn about the techniques but also to practice and integrate them into their bodies and daily life.
This workshop is base on:

A Special Treat: Join Us for a Day with Laura Hanlon – Tuesday, 4th February
We’re absolutely delighted to welcome the wonderful Laura Hanlon to our studio this coming Tuesday, 4th February. With over 20 years of Pilates experience, Laura brings a wealth of knowledge and passion to every class she teaches. Having worked in New York City and Southern California, she’s certified by the Pilates Method Alliance and has completed additional training in Pre and Post Natal Pilates. You may also recognise her as a featured instructor on Pilates Anytime.
Class Schedule:
5:00 PM – Mat Pilates (up to 8 people)
6:00 PM – Full Studio Workout (up to 4 people)
Private Sessions Available:
From 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM and at 7:00 PM
Laura’s career is as inspiring as her teaching. She has held the roles of Pilates Manager, Teacher Trainer, and Senior Instructor at various Equinox Clubs, and is currently part of The Well’s Mindful Movement team. In addition, she directs Studio du Corps’ Teacher Training Program and offers workshops worldwide, sharing her expertise with fellow instructors and practitioners alike.
It’s a real privilege to have Laura with us for the day, and we’d love for you to experience her teaching firsthand. Whether you’re attending one of her classes or booking a private session, we’re sure you’ll leave feeling inspired and invigorated.
