Sensuality on stage is not just about looking the part, it’s mainly about connection: connection between your body and your emotions, between your breath and your movement, between you and the audience. 🔥✨
A lot of performers focus so much on choreography that they forget the small things that actually make a performance feel alive: breathing fully, lifting the gaze, allowing emotion to travel through the entire body instead of just the face. And of course: your mindset plays a huge role! 💭💖

Welcome to my pasties collection (or a part of it at least 😉). There are so many different styles and possibilities and they each have their pros and cons. Of course, you can make nippies yourself and many performers do – but if you are in the market for pasties, here are my favourite makers (no ad, just a genuine recommendation!):

Yes, technique is important BUT: The best performances happen when we connect to our audience first. 💕Because as live performers, we are not simply doing our routine in a vacuum. Instead, every night, every stage, every moment in a live show is completely unique and unrepeatable. ✨
That’s what drives audiences to burlesque – it’s up to you to play your best at this give-and-receive-game. You should not feel pressured to give more than you can, as well as they shouldn’t feel obliged to give more than they want. Like everything else... it’s a relationship.
