I’ve created COCOON for women in midlife who feel the need to pause, nourish and reset.
Midlife can be a challenging transition as we navigate shifting hormones alongside the many responsibilities of daily life. We live in a world that tells us to push harder, do more and keep going. Yet this often amplifies the very symptoms many women experience during this stage of life: insomnia, hot flushes, digestive discomfort, anxiety, overwhelm, and a sense of losing touch with oneself.
In Ayurveda, midlife is governed by Vata. This stage of life asks us to slow down, simplify, ground and listen more closely to the wisdom of our bodies.
As women, it becomes essential to protect our vitality, energy and inner reserves. In Ayurveda, we call this Ojas — our deepest source of nourishment, resilience and radiance.
What once worked in our 20s and 30s may no longer feel supportive. Many women find themselves navigating changes in digestion, sleep, energy, mood and overall wellbeing. This is why attuning to the natural rhythms of the dosha-bio-clock governed by the energies of — Vata, Pitta and Kapha — can be such a powerful way to support hormonal balance and create more ease in everyday life.
COCOON is my 7-day Ayurveda Reset designed to bring you back to the foundations:

🐚 nervous system support
🐚 a rhythm that feels sustainable

I recently came across this quote by Jay Griffiths:
„Rituals are the doorways of the psyche, between the sacred and the profane, between purity and dirt, beauty and ugliness, and an opening out of the ordinary into the extraordinary.“
I feel that many people think of self-care as a routine—something mundane, like brushing your teeth or washing the dishes. For me, taking care of myself has nothing to do with routine. It is sacred.
It’s sacred time to check in with myself, to be honest about where I haven’t given myself enough space to rest, soften, or simply be.
There is something almost ceremonial about it. Many Ayurvedic self-care rituals are designed to nourish and care for the senses, but something even more extraordinary happens when you spend a quiet moment with yourself, tending to your own needs. It’s about so much more than optimization. It‘s really about transforming your ordinary life in to an extraordinary one. Making your life special with little routines!

In midlife, we often fall into the trap of trying to optimise more. But this usually does the opposite — it places additional pressure on the nervous system and adds to an already heightened sense of workload.
You can do all the fitness routines and herbal protocols you want, but if you are not attuning to your natural rhythms — your circadian rhythm, your melatonin and cortisol flow — the body will remain out of balance.
One of the foundational tools in Ayurveda is living in alignment with the Dosha clock. Each day is divided into six natural cycles, each governed by the qualities of Vata, Pitta, and Kapha.
Learning to attune to this rhythm is exactly what I teach inside COCOON — 7-Day Ayurveda Midlife Reset. Use code COCOON 50 for 50% off (valid till Sunday).
In just one week, you will sleep more deeply, support your digestion, and feel more energised and grounded in your body.

Women in perimenopause often notice a sudden shift in their digestion. Foods that once felt completely fine suddenly leave you bloated, heavy, or uncomfortable. Even if you’re not gluten intolerant, your body may simply not digest it the same way anymore.
I see you, women 🤍
In Ayurveda, this change is connected to a weakening of the digestive fire — our metabolic strength naturally shifts during this phase of life. The key principle is not restriction, but supporting and nourishing your digestive capacity.
This is why I generally recommend reducing classic gluten products and limiting sourdough bread to around twice a week, while incorporating more pseudograins and warming spices that gently rekindle digestion.
One of my favourite grain-free porridges — shared inside the recipe booklet of COCOON: The 7-Day Ayurveda Midlife Reset — is a beautiful example of how deeply nourishing and satisfying supportive foods can be - without the bloating effect.

The biggest challenge with midlife is that the things that used to balance your body no longer work — just when you think you’ve finally figured it, everything starts to shift again.
It can truly feel like your body is suddenly speaking a new language. And yes, I’m sure you’ve been hearing about HRT (and the “window of opportunity”), and maybe you’re already at the gym lifting those annoying weights — but that’s only one part of the story.
Let me show you how Ayurveda understands this transition, and how you can support it naturally with 3 key elements to feel calmer, clearer, and more grounded.
I’m hosting a free online Ayurveda masterclass: Wednesday, May 6, 18:30 (60 min.) recording available for a week. I highly recommend to join live.
And if you know a woman who needs this, forward her this newsletter — she’ll thank you later (and I will too).
