In 2018, members of the Zurich Inneoin GAA Club held the first ‘Darkness into Light’ event in Switzerland. 2025 year sees groups participate in Zurich, Basel, Geneva, and now Bern, in support of Pieta House in Ireland and Trauernetz in Switzerland.

Youth training continues this Saturday, 19th August from 9.30-11.30 at the Sportzentrum Heerenschürli. Ages 6-16. Beginners welcome. Bring your kids along for the fun and games.

Darkness Into Light

Just a quick reminder that this year’s Darkness Into Light walk will take place tomorrow.

This year at sunrise we will walk together as a group down the lake from our start point at Bürkliplatz to the Saffa Island (do a loop of it) and back again up to where we started. It is the same route as last year’s event for anyone who was at that.🚶‍♀️🚶🏻💛🧡🌅

It is encouraged for those who already have a Yellow Darkness Into Light tee shirt, to rewear it for the event - to be as sustainable as possible. ♻️💚 Though, we also have some tee shirts left over so we can bring along some on the morning and you can collect it from us then.

Home Join Pieta and Electric Ireland at sunrise on Sat 6th May for Darkness Into Light and give the gift of hope to those impacted by su***de and self-harm. Join an organised event across Ireland and the world or you can walk, swim, bike or simply share your sunrise moment.

Team Zürich/équipe la Suisse did themselves proud in the first Pan-European Hurling/ Camogie round in Maastricht today. Our lads won three of their four games, if it wasn’t for the bounce of the ball, we would have brought home the shield title. For the camógs, Mirella helped Eindhoven and reached 3rd place
