Those are the four stages of our menstruation cycle.
But what does that specifically mean when it comes to our workout routine?
-> your female body is a cyclic being and doesn‘t want to be treated the exact same way every day of the month.
Rather tune in, follow up on your cycle, know in what phase you currently are, and notice what it is that your body wants in that very moment.
We are all individual beings, but those are the kinds of workouts/movements our bodies like within the four phases:
PHASE 1:
No workouts at all or very low impacts just as a gentle activating stretch, an easy walk, or swim.
PHASE 2:
This is the time to go after „beyond the limits“ workouts where you are really pushing yourself into the next level.
PHASE 3:
Go for high endurance, increase repetitions and decrease weights, do cardio training.
PHASE 4:
Skip weights for good and switch to own bodyweight only. Go into a rather moderate modus again and listen even more carefully to what your body needs.
