On Saturday, August 22, 2026, the first wave of the mandatory Federal Medical Examination took place for FIFAM licensees distributed among the various affiliated clubs and associations. A second wave is scheduled in two weeks.

Le Samedi 08 Août 2026, le Bureau Fédéral de la FIFAM (Fédération Ivoirienne de Football Américain) s'est réuni afin de mettre en place les orientations stratégiques de la Fédération pour les prochains mois. Le bilan des saisons écoulées dans les différentes disciplines et événements notamment sur le plan financier a été évoqué (notamment la situation des clubs) Les priorités ont ensuite été définies en terme de stratégies afin de pouvoir faire face tant aux niveaux financier, stratégique que sportif aux prochaines grandes échéances, notamment celles à caractère internationales en 2027; échéances qui arrivent d'ailleurs à grand pas .

On Saturday, August 8, 2026, the Federal Bureau of FIFAM (Ivorian American Football Federation) met to establish the Federation's strategic guidelines for the coming months. A review of past seasons across various disciplines and events, particularly regarding financial aspects (including the situation of the clubs), was discussed. Priorities were then defined in terms of strategies to face upcoming major deadlines—financially, strategically, and athletically—especially international events in 2027, which are fast approaching.

La deuxième édition des Olympiades de l'armée était organisée au Nouveau Camp d'Akouedo du 11 au 13 juin 2026 une quinzaine d'athlètes de la FIFAM a pris part à cette course d'obstacles façon commando afin de renforcer la cohésion et l'esprit de groupe. Les exercices physique de force, de précision, d'endurance, de réactivité et d'orientation dans l'espace furent quelques uns des obstacles que nos licenciés ont eu a vivre durant ces Olympiades de l'armée. L'esprit d'entraide fut un élément déterminant qui a permis a nos athlètes masculins et féminins de reussir a boucler ce parcours de plus de 15km ! Ce type d'initiative et d'événements non seulement, rapproche les citoyens et civils de leur armée nationale 🇨🇮 mais contribue aussi a comprendre les defis que les militaires ont a enduré lors de leurs formations. Un autre aspect non négligeable et qu'il permet aussi a nos athlètes de se dépasser en équipe,se mesurer a des professionnels aguerris à ce type d'exercice et se forger un mental d'acier afin de ramener plus de trophées et de médailles pour la Nation.

The second edition of the Army Olympiads was held at the New Akouedo Camp from June 11 to 13, 2026. Around fifteen FIFAM athletes took part in this commando-style obstacle course to strengthen cohesion and team spirit. Physical exercises testing strength, precision, endurance, responsiveness, and spatial awareness were just some of the obstacles our licensed athletes faced during these Army Olympiads. A spirit of mutual support was the deciding factor that allowed our male and female athletes to successfully complete this course of over 15km! This type of initiative and event not only brings citizens and civilians closer to their national army 🇨🇮 but also helps them understand the challenges that military personnel must endure during their training. Another significant benefit is that it allows our athletes to push their limits as a team, measure themselves against professionals seasoned in this type of exercise, and forge a steel mentality to bring home more trophies and medals for our Nation.

En séjour actuel en France 🇫🇷, la FIFAM Fédération Ivoirienne de Football Américain 🇨🇮 par le biais de son Secrétaire Général, Mr Nijenhuis a officiellement rendu visite a l'équipe des Sphinx de Pau.
Cette rencontre d'échanges avec le Président du Sphinx Mr Darmana et le Head Coach Mr Jules Fornage, a porté sur le développement Général du Football Américain tant au niveau local qu'au niveau international.
Un croisement de vues, perspectives et réalités des différents pays ainsi que la vision global du Développement du Football Américain et du Flag Football afin de faire davantage connaître le Foot US au plus grand nombre.
La FIFAM tient a remercier le Sphinx de Pau pour cet très bon acceuil qui illustre la Fraternité et solidarité qui existe dans le monde du Football Américain et cela, bien au delà des Frontières.

Currently in France 🇫🇷, FIFAM the Ivoirian Federation of American Football 🇨🇮, represented by its General Secretary, Mr. Nijenhuis, paid an official visit to the Sphinx of Pau organization.
This constructive meeting with the President of the Sphinx, Mr. Darmana, and Head Coach, Mr. Jules Fornage, focused on the global development of American football at both local and international levels.
The discussions provided an opportunity to exchange perspectives and insights on the distinct realities within each country. Furthermore, both parties examined strategic visions for the advancement of American football and flag football, with the shared objective of promoting the sport to a wider public.
FIFAM expresses its sincere gratitude to the Sphinx of Pau for their exceptionally warm welcome, which exemplifies the spirit of fraternity and solidarity that unites the American football community across international borders.
