‼️ A HEAVY SWELL ADVISORY IS NOW IN FORCE FOR THE COOK ISLANDS ‼️

Large swells generated by an intense system southeast of New Zealand is expected to affect the Cook Islands:

📅 Southern Group: From Wednesday 10 June
📅 Northern Group: From Thursday 11 June

⚠️ Expect large waves, hazardous sea conditions, and possible flooding of low-lying coastal areas.

📢 We are monitoring the situation closely and will provide further updates as required.

Kevin Salem with this unreal 332kg marlin caught from his 16ft tinny, pushed by a 30hp Yamaha.
Hooking up in over a thousand metres of water on his 80w Tiagra, solo, the fight lasted just an hour!
The fish was then towed back to the island and lifted on the boat for photos.
Well done Kev-amazing fish and cheers for providing Rarotonga with food for countless families. (Nothing is wasted from this beast, it is not a ‘trophy’, but a valuable resource) 🎣🎣🎣🏆🏆🏆
