Well its been a while but glad to announce one of our members has been selected to represent the Cook Islands at the Oceania boxing competion in Canberra March 2012. Mathew will be spending 2 weeks in Tahiti with fellow national boxer Jubilee where they will train with Tahitis top boxers and professional boxers. From there they will return to Raro then head off to Canberra Australia for their comp on the 14th. Gold winners from this tournament will qualify to participate in the 2012 London Olympics!! So from now till then its daily training morning and evennings ith National coach Tom Masters. We will be doing some small fundraisers as the boys desperaely need funds. Will keep everyone posted . We just had our first meeting this Thursday. Now we are on track we are fundraising towards our many goals for this year. 1/ South Pacific Game 2/ Bringing in an International fighter or team for a fight night 3/ Going overseas to Tahiti or NZ for a fight night 4/ David Tua has invited our boys over for some training !!
