TRIALS !!!

Kia Orana Volleyball Enthusiasts, the trials for the Oceania Zonal Volleyball Championship Beach Volleyball has now been extended for another 2 days. Which means more opportunities for those who did not get the chance this past week.

Trial Dates/Times

Thursday 20th of August 2026 - 5pm
Saturday 22nd of August 2026 - 10am

Venue: Nikao Beach Courts

Reminder this is also open to Cook Islanders living in Australia & New Zealand, but must provide their New Zealand Passport to be registered.

The Cook Islands Volleyball Federation is deeply saddened and shocked to hear of the passing of beloved volleyball player, Kyla Te Wano Greensill.

A New Zealand representative, the Cook Islands Women’s National Team had the privilege of playing against Kyla on multiple occasions over the past few years during the Matariki Cup, where she was both a player and coach.

Our ladies admired not only her incredible skill and passion for volleyball, but also the grace, warmth and kindness she showed our players.

Kyla’s impact on volleyball was instrumental, and her presence will be deeply missed by the Cook Islands volleyball community.

CIVF extends our deepest condolences to Kyla’s friends, teammates, colleagues and whānau in Aotearoa during this difficult time.

Volleyball Coverage

CIVF President Robert Graham speaks to us about their Oceania ZONAL Volleyball Championship in Guam. A successful campaign were the country World Rankings have improved.

Wonens World Ranking
- 91st Place

Their final placings at the Oceania Zonal Volleyball Championship have confirmed their qualifications to the Pacific Games Tahiti 2027.

In celebration of the Cook Islands Constitution Day, we will once again be hosting our annual Constitution Tournament, sponsored by Vodafone Cook Islands 🙌🏼

Aere mai, bring the family for a day of fun! We kick off at 9am, so come as early as 8:30am to secure a spot for you and the family in the TSA!

The ladies will kickstart us first in the morning, followed by the men in the evening. A little different this year, we will be doing round robin - more will be said tomorrow, so make sure to be there at 8:50am so you dont miss out on the announcements.

We are looking for referees, scorers and volunteers, so please Kaitini if you're interested in giving back to the community! 😉

OZVA UPDATE - RA 1/DAY 1

Today, our men kick off our OZVA campaign at 3:15pm (CKT) with their first match against our brothers from Australia🇦🇺. Our ladies then wrap up our first day of match at 10pm (CKT) against our sisters and host country, Guam!🇬🇺 we are excited, and we are ready to represent and compete for you Cook Islands!🇨🇰
