Don’t Let the World Change You
The world will test you, sometimes unfairly, sometimes repeatedly. You will meet people who project their pain through hate, envy, anger, and bitterness. If you are not careful, you may slowly start becoming what once hurt you. That is the real danger, not failure, but losing who you truly are.
Choose a different path. Stay grounded in love, show care even when it is not returned, and practice forgiveness, not because others deserve it, but because your peace depends on it. Strength is not in reacting like everyone else, it is in maintaining your values when it is hardest to do so.
Protect your heart, guard your character, and remain true to yourself. In a world that tries to change you, your greatest victory is becoming a better version of who you were created to be.

The Employment Discovery Days (JDE) 2026 at the National Employment Fund, Bamenda Branch, concluded on a powerful and inspiring note, leaving behind a renewed sense of purpose, direction, and opportunity for hundreds of participants.
For three impactful days, the NEF opened its doors to job seekers, young graduates, and aspiring entrepreneurs, transforming its premises into a vibrant hub of learning, interaction, and opportunity. From the very first session, participants were immersed in a dynamic environment designed to demystify employment pathways and unlock entrepreneurial potential.
One of the major highlights of the event was the practical workshop on “How to Write a Business Plan and Access NEF Funding”, which equipped participants with clear, actionable knowledge on transforming ideas into bankable projects. Complex concepts were broken down into simple, applicable steps, enabling participants to confidently begin structuring their own business plans.
Guided tours across NEF operational units gave attendees a rare, behind-the-scenes understanding of the institution’s services, processes, and support mechanisms. This transparency strengthened trust and brought clarity to how individuals can effectively engage with NEF programs.
The event also featured interactive job search workshops (ARE, AREI), where participants gained practical tools to improve employability, refine their professional profiles, and better navigate the job market. These sessions were highly engaging and tailored to the realities of today’s employment landscape.
Equally impactful was the exhibition of partners and project promoters, which created a unique platform for networking, knowledge exchange, and inspiration. Participants interacted directly with successful entrepreneurs and stakeholders, gaining real-world insights and building valuable connections.
Beyond the structured sessions, JDE 2026 succeeded in something even more profound, restoring hope...

People will always have opinions, expectations, and standards they try to place on you. If you are not careful, you can slowly start living a life that is not truly yours.
Growth begins the moment you stop measuring your worth with someone else’s ruler. Trust your journey. Stay open to learning, but do not lose yourself trying to fit into spaces that were never designed for you.
You will be misunderstood at times, that is part of the process. What matters is that you remain grounded in who you are becoming, not who people think you should be.
Keep evolving. Keep refining. Keep standing firm in your truth.
Your life is your responsibility, build it with intention.

🎓💛 HEARTFELT GRADUATION MESSAGE TO OUR CYEN FAMILY – 12th DECEMBER 💛🎓
My dear graduating mentees,
As you walk across that stage tomorrow at the University of Bamenda, my heart is full. I celebrate each of you with deep pride, emotion, and gratitude. Your graduation on 12th December is not just your milestone, it's also a day of destiny for CYEN, born on this very date exactly three years ago. Tomorrow is CYEN birthday making us 3 years old 🥰
Some of you graduating tomorrow were the very first seeds of this vision, back when we were still called “Conquerors.” You believed in this family before it had a name, before it had a structure, before the world even knew what CYEN would become. You are the living proof that resilience, mentorship, and purpose can transform destinies.
Today, as you stand on the threshold of a new chapter, I want you to remember this:
🎖️ Your certificate is not just paper, it is evidence of sacrifice, sleepless nights, discipline, and growth.
🌱 Your mentorship journey with CYEN was not a coincidence, it was preparation.
💼 The job market is not a threat, it is a field of opportunities waiting for the well-aligned, the intentional, and the prepared.
As you step forward, carry with you the lessons you learned from me personally and from CYEN:
○Stand out with excellence.
○Position yourself boldly.
○Network with purpose.
○Never stop learning.
○Serve humanity with your gifts.
The world is full of noise, but those who are aligned, focused, and skilled always rise. You are rising.
Please, do not graduate and disappear. CYEN is not a stepping stone, it is a family. We are here to guide you, support you, and walk with you as you navigate the job market, opportunities, and your professional growth. Whenever you feel lost, confused, or discouraged, remember: CYEN is your home base.
On this special date that marks both your achievement and our anniversary, I bless your next steps with courage, clarity, and supernatural favour. May your names echo in rooms you have not yet entered. May the world recognize the greatness inside you. And may the seeds planted in you through mentorship bear fruits that generations will admire.
Congratulations, dear graduates! 🎉
Go out there and shine.
You carry the DNA of CYEN and we are forever proud of you.
With deep love and pride,

🔥 CYEN ANNUAL MEGA YOUTH CAMP 2025 — OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT 🔥
Theme: “Skill Up Before You Step Out!”
Dates: 13th–15th December 2025
Dear CYEN family 💚✨
Graduation season is coming… but let’s face the truth 👇
🎓 Many youths are graduating every year… yet over 70% STILL lack the practical soft skills needed for the real world.
🎓 Universities are releasing thousands of degree holders… but very few are truly employable.
🎓 Some will spend 20,000–50,000 FCFA or more, on hair, shoes, clothes, and drinks for graduation…
yet remain confused and unprepared for life after school.
Let’s be honest with ourselves:
👉 Your degree alone is not enough anymore.
👉 You need real skills, not just a gown and a photo-shoot.
👉 You need the practical knowledge your 3+ years of school did NOT give you.
That’s why CYEN is hosting the 2025 ANNUAL MEGA YOUTH CAMP —
a powerful 3-day workshop that will TRANSFORM your career path before you step into 2026.
🔥 WHY THIS CAMP IS URGENT & IMPORTANT
This camp was created after noticing a painful trend:
Most graduates finish school with ZERO skills in Excel, digital marketing, entrepreneurship, leadership, project writing, office administration, or financial literacy.
Yet these are the same skills employers demand from Day One.
And for many youths…
📌 Their first job interview becomes their first rejection.
📌 Their first business idea dies before it starts.
📌 Their CV cannot stand next to others.
*WHY?*
Because school gave them a certificate, not a skillset.
CYEN is stepping in to fix that.
💥 WHAT YOU WILL GAIN (Value far above your school degree):
✔ Real-world business & management skills
✔ Office administration & computer mastery
✔ Financial management, budgeting & Excel
✔ Marketing, branding & digital skills
✔ Project development, leadership & communication
✔ Agribusiness & entrepreneurship
✔ A complete personal growth reset
✔ A powerful 2026 career map
✔ Certification of participation
And the biggest of all:
You will learn what your degree NEVER gave you.
💸 CAMP FEE: ONLY 5,000 FCFA
Yes!
For just 5,000 FCFA, you get:
🎒 3 Days of intensive self-learning workshops
🎯 Access to over several video course materials
📘 Learning pods based on your discipline
🛏️ Accommodation space for the weekend
📄 Certificate
🤝 Networking & mentorship
Compare that to:
💇 20,000–35,000 for graduation hair alone
👗 15,000–45,000 for graduation dress
🍾 10,000–30,000 on drinks & friends
🍗 10,000–20,000 on celebration food
All that excitement lasts 12 hours…
But the skills from this camp will last a lifetime.

CYEN, CornerStone Academy & NEF Bamenda: Building Champions, One Jennifer at a Time!
If there is one thing the National Employment Fund (NEF) Bamenda does exceptionally well, it is transforming raw potential into refined excellence. And today at Admiralty Hotel Upstation, that excellence was on full display as dozens of vibrant young Cameroonians graduated in Hotel Management and Embroidery of African Traditional Regalia—skills that keep our culture alive and our economy moving.
Among the shining stars of this 2025 cohort stands a name we are very proud of:
Miss Ashiginoh Jenny
A young woman whose resilience could power a small nation, and whose dedication to personal growth is nothing short of inspiring.
Jennifer isn’t just a trainee; she is a product of CornerStone Youth Empowerment Network (CYEN)—a mentorship family committed to turning dreams into careers and careers into legacies. When she joined CYEN, she didn’t just sit back and listen; she rolled up her sleeves (and sometimes her entire future) and decided to become better every single day.
And she didn’t stop there! Jennifer also trained at the CornerStone Academy of Professional Excellence, where she mastered Computerized Accounting—proof that she is as comfortable with spreadsheets as she is with customer service and hospitality. If multitasking were a competition, she’d walk away with all the trophies.
Today, she graduates proudly from the NEF’s Hotel Management program, standing tall as both a true ambassador of CYEN and a living testimony that when mentorship meets opportunity, success becomes inevitable.
Why CYEN Exists — and Why You Should Join
CYEN is more than a mentorship platform. It is a launching pad, a confidence factory, a transformation zone, and occasionally, a comedy club—because growth doesn’t have to be boring! We equip youth with:
Professional and entrepreneurial skills
Mentorship from industry leaders
Personal development programs
A vibrant community that pushes you to win—even on days you want to give up
Just ask Jennifer. Or better yet, watch her success unfold.
CornerStone Academy of Professional Excellence: Where Skills Meet Destiny
Whether it’s Computerized Accounting, Business Skills, ICT, Entrepreneurship, Hospitality, or any other high-demand field, CornerStone Academy ensures trainees graduate ready for the job market—and ready to create jobs of their own. Excellence is not just a name here; it’s a culture.
National Employment Fund Bamenda: Empowering Youth, One Skill at a Time
NEF continues to champion youth employment through hands-on professional training. Programs like Hotel Management and Embroidery of African Regalia empower young people to become economically independent and creatively unstoppable.
And Then There’s Jennifer — The Rising Star
Smart, hardworking, humble, consistent, and beautifully ambitious—Miss Mbu Jennifer is positioning herself as a force in hospitality and corporate services. With her dual skillset in Hotel Management and Computerized Accounting, plus the mindset of a conqueror built through CYEN mentorship, she is ready to turn opportunities into achievements and challenges into stepping stones.
If you are looking for:
A role model for young girls
A passionate intern or employee
A future industry leader
Then remember the name: Jennifer Mbu—the CornerStone of tomorrow!
CYEN, CornerStone Academy & NEF Bamenda: Empowering the youth who will empower the nation.
If you want to grow, learn, evolve, and laugh while doing it… you already know where to go.

We had the privilege to join the National Employment Fund (NEF) Bamenda team at the 2025 Open Door Day of the University of Bamenda in Bambili on the 14th of November, 2025
Together with my CYENITE mentees and hundreds of students, staff and partners, we used this platform not just to talk about employment and entrepreneurship, but to identify real opportunities. By the end of the day, over 200 potential project holders/entrepreneurs had registered with our team for follow-up support.
This is more than a statistic – it is a clear sign that UBa students are ready to create jobs, not just search for them. In the days ahead, NEF Bamenda and our partners will be working closely with these young innovators to refine their ideas, improve their employability and support them towards bankable, impact-driven projects.
The future of work in Bamenda is bright – and it is already in motion. 🚀
