1. Check your carabiner— Is it damaged? Does the gate close and lock properly?
2. Inspect your lanyard — Look for cuts, fraying, burns, chemical damage, or damaged stitching.
3. Check your connections — Make sure your equipment is correctly connected, compatible, and securely locked.
🚨Remember: If your gear is damaged or questionable, DO NOT USE IT.
