The Cameroon Cricket Federation president, Victor Agbor Nso today held a meeting with the women's national team, club captains, vice captains, and development officers to finalize plans for the inaugural ICC Women's Cricket Week which coincides with the ongoing Women's Cricket world cup in India.

A key topic was how the Federation will implement ICC's vision to boost the profile of women's cricket through the Women's Cricket week

The Women's Cricket week is scheduled to take place from October 16 to 22, 2025.

Cricket Youth and Inter-schools Jamboree of Saturday 03 May at Yaounde Lycèe General Leclerc was a huge success. Hundreds of young people, boys and girls from many primary and secondary schools converged at the Lycèe General Leclerc for this huge success story and many have been preselected to join teams at the upcoming Cricket Domestic Competitions and eventually into the Under teens National Teams.

Le Jamboree de cricket des jeunes et des écoles, qui s'est tenu le samedi 3 mai au lycée Général Leclerc de Yaoundé, a été un immense succès. Des centaines de jeunes, garçons et filles, de nombreuses écoles primaires et secondaires se sont rassemblés au lycée Général Leclerc pour cette grande réussite. Nombre d'entre eux ont été présélectionnés pour intégrer les équipes des prochaines compétitions nationales de cricket, puis les équipes nationales des moins de 18 ans.
