Translucent Green Leaf Vibes and things I’ll miss from Guangzhou. Mountain hikes with my son-not to say we won’t hike another mountain, but it’ll be a long time if ever that we revisit this one. Bye-bye 火绿山

Cute little crawler in the hallways as we were leaving Guangzhou. Just aspects of Guangzhou that I really appreciated and will miss, the unique life around the area that I was fortunate enough to observe from time to time and reflect on how, no@matter how big or how small, everyone, everything is aware and however superstitious I may be, I’m not associating it with a sign of any sort in terms of luck, but just a reminder from the universe that you might feel like your moving along in the dark, but the light is strong above and there are folks who see you and appreciate you for being you. #2025

Thanks Daniel Padula and TJ Dragon Crew for hosting us-this is what a lot of us needed with how things have been going lately. Maybe that's just those of who are working at DMLIS though :p Nevertheless, regardless of where you were coming from that weekend was great! The new rookies-scum of the earth, but still great. The helmet stickers-Great! Spenny's new girlfriend, wonderful lady (when she has her dentures in at least); hotel bed...uhhh great? (when it is not covered in dinner and liquor I guess). But Tianjin airlines..avoid that- NOT hockey player friendly unless you pay for your bag...

All the best to Dragons lost, Dragons found and Dragons who aren't aware they are Dragons yet! It was a pleasure getting time in with everyone and getting to know everyone a bit better. The day was not as cut and dry as we expected, but when the day came-it all panned out real well! We look forward to more opportunities like this one that are not only Dragon spectacles, but community building moments that get people who you wouldn't normally see doing the same thing at the same time, shaking hands and cheering together-Champions award goes to Ruan who was injured that weekend after a vicious fight on the pavement for the ball (sorry.) and MVP goes to the smallest Dragon with biggest heart (Kirin MF). Check out that swag Dragon!
Oct.18 is a big day! The Dalian Ice Dragons are heading to Tianjin to reunite and come together as a full team once again.
Dragons flying in from all across China are making their way to Tianjin to be apart of the first ever Hockey Tourney hosted by Coach Perry and Dan "The Dud" Padula.
Looking forward to it gentlemen!
Tomorrow is the Dragon's second time on the ice for a Tuesday night! First turn out of the year "6 players"-no that's not a mistake, was looking slim for awhile but then Ol'Cap Madman Madill turned it around and recruited some hidden talent from around the school. Not just a "rag tag group" of people any more, now its an "international rag tag group".
Also, make it known that our rookie P.Joliceur has 7...or 8? rookie fouls against him so far.
