Bouncing back to P3 overall to keep the title fight alive!🔥

In Sunday's Race 2 at the Beijing round of , the four rings pushed hard from lights out. FAW Audi Sport Asia Team Phantom's official drivers and climbed from P8 all the way to P3 overall and took the Silver class win. James Yu Kuai stayed within striking distance of the lead pack in the first half and waited for his chance to pounce, before Cheng Congfu took over and pulled off several superb overtakes. The #15 Audi entry also put in an outstanding performance. Jaxon Evans made several daring passes from the start, and once Andrés Pato took the wheel, the car ran as high as P4 overall, with podium places in the cards. Unfortunately, contact with a rival while defending position pushed it off track, and after rejoining it could only finish P15 overall.

With this result, FAW Audi Sport Asia Team Phantom's #16 crew moves up to P3 in the overall season standings and remains in contention for the overall title.

In Race 1 of the Beijing round, FAW Audi Sport Asia Team Phantom's official drivers and lost a valuable chance to close the gap in the standings. While running P2 overall, they were handed a drive-through penalty for speeding under a full course yellow, and eventually crossed the line P4 in class and P11 overall. Meanwhile, the #15 Audi entry was unable to finish after an accident in the first half of the race. With Race 1 in the rearview mirror, the four rings' drivers will regroup to find their second wind in tomorrow's Race 2.

In Q2 for the Beijing round of , Pro driver Jaxon Evans was outstanding on his first outing at the high-speed Beijing Street Circuit. After quickly getting to grips with the track in practice and pre-qualifying, he took the #15 Audi R8 LMS GT3 evo II to P7 overall in Q2 with a 1:44.655. Silver-rated finished just 0.059 seconds behind Jaxon Evans, so the two Audis will fill the fourth row for Sunday's race, giving both teams and crews plenty of confidence in the fight for points. Race 2 will start on Sunday at 13:00.

Front row on home terf! Q1 for the Beijing round of wrapped up today, with official driver putting on a show for the home crowd in his #16 Audi R8 LMS GT3 evo II. In the fight for pole from the get-go, he missed out by just 0.039 seconds and will start Race 1 from the front row. Meanwhile, Am driver Andrés Pato piloted the #15 Audi entry to a 1:46.439 in Q1 to finish P5 in the Pro-Am class and will start the race from the sixth row.

Race 1 gets underway on Saturday at 15:45.
