Ice C***s go into the Christmas break 8-2 after a 3-0 drubbing of the hapless Chiefs. That's two shut outs in a row. It was a special night as two time Ice C**k Wada Masakazu returns to Tokyo. Keeping up the tradition of players returning to Tokyo, Wada brought us a bottle of 12 year old Yamazaki for a good bye toast. That actually started as a joke I'm not about to stop this tradition. Good luck in Tokyo Wada. We expect you to fly back for the finals (another team tradition).

Seasons over. Presidents trophy in the bag. Time for playoffs!!!!

Best rink elevator conversation of the year was near the beginning of the season as one of the senior members of the Ice C***s was riding up with 2 young guys from the Fu Dogs (or maybe the Puck Hounds- same thing). It goes something like this:

Young guy 1 'who are we playing tonight?'
Young guy 2 ' Ice C***s'
Young guy 1 ' who are they?'
Young guy 2 ' they are the team of old fat guys'

So the Ice C***s won that game with only 6 skaters and as the season comes to a close we are 4-0 against both those two teams. This once again proves that old age and treachery beats youth and exuberance every time. Or was it pregame Yamazaki beats your stupid protein shakes every time? Doesn't matter - Ice C***s are getting ready for the playoffs!

Sorry to see Kaz and Kiwi James leaving but we are flying you both back for he finals (to be clear - you're paying, but we we say 'we are flying you back' because it sounds good)
