In October, after IRONMAN Liuzhou, Qujing, Chongqing, and XiaMen, IRONMAN's calling the global IRON MEN & WOMEN to meet Chongming Island in Shanghai and lighting the IRONMAN 70.3 fire on the Pearl Lake. Background

Chongming Island, also known as the "crab island", is located in the West Pacific coast of China's coast line, located in the Yangtze River Estuary. It has always been an important node of waterway traffic in the eastern coastal areas of China. It is the third largest island in China after Taiwan island and Hainan Island. It is also the largest estuarine impact island in the world. It is known as the "portal of the Yangtze River". And the reputation of "Yingzhou in the East China Sea".

Thanks to its unique geographical location and climate conditions, Chongming Island has become a rare venue for high quality sports events in the Yangtze River Delta region, attracting The Shanghai Chongming Triathlon, The 2016 Chongming Island 100km Marathon, The 2017 Shanghai Chongming International Marathon, and The 2018 Chongming Island International League women's highway.

Introduction

Guangzhou Wanda Sports Development Co., Ltd. and Shanghai Chongming District Sports Bureau Co hosted the IRONMAN70.3 Chongming, ShangHai. Under the guidance of developing the Chongming Island sports culture atmosphere and creating "sports leisure island", the world's top IP competition and Chongming Island culture are combined to make it a melting culture. Sports, tourism, entertainment in one of the leading landmark projects.

The high quality track conditions and planning of IRONMAN 70.3 Chongming will help all IRON MEN & WOMEN to win their PBs. The competition will start from Chongming Island Mingzhu lake. The players will challenge the following course:
Swimming: 1.9 kilometers
Riding: 90 kilometers
Running: 21.1 kilometers

今年十月，继 IRONMAN中国赛区 柳州、曲靖、重庆、厦门站之后，IRONMAN 将召唤全球铁人们相聚上海崇明岛，在明珠湖畔点燃 IRONMAN 70.3的战火。铁人三项，这项以钢铁意志而闻名世界的高端耐力赛事，在他40岁生日之时，在上海将开启了新的赛事篇章。

崇明岛又名“蟹岛”，位于西太平洋沿岸中国海岸线的重点，地处万里长江入海口，历来是我国东部沿海地区水路交通的重要节点，是仅次于台湾岛、海南岛的中国第三大岛，也是世界上最大的河口冲击岛，素有“长江门户”、“东海瀛洲”之美誉。
崇明岛环江靠海，典型海洋性气候，温和湿润，年平均气温15.2℃，空气相对湿度常年保持在80%，空气中的负氧离子含量为每立方厘米1000-2000个，堪称天然的大氧吧。

此次由广州万达体育发展有限公司及上海市崇明区体育局共同主办的 IRONMAN70.3 上海站落地崇明岛，就是在发展崇明岛体育文化氛围、打造“运动休闲岛”的理念指导下，将世界顶级IP赛事与崇明岛文化相结合，使之成为融文化、体育、旅游、娱乐于一体的国内领先的标志性项目。
IRONMAN 70.3上海站的优质赛道条件及赛道规划是初赛者难得的赛事选择，并有助于老铁们实现PB，比赛将从崇明岛明珠湖开始整场比赛的征程，选手们将挑战以下赛程，回到终点明珠湖：

In 2018.04.14, IRONMAN 70.3 2018 was held in the Liuzhou. 7 triathletes form the Shanghai Elite Triathlon Club attended the race.
Let's congratulate Laurent Sirieix won his Qualificaiton for IRONMAN World ChampionShip 2018, and Yan Li Finished 1st IRONMAN 70.3, while The Nguy couple ( Marie & Huuphoc ), Olivier Derbez, Bin Lin and Bill Zheng Finished their 1st IRONMAN 70.3 with their best performances in 2018.
Meanwhile, in IRONMAN GLOBAL RANKING Shanghai Elite Triathlon Club won 2ND PLACE OF TRICLUB DIVISION V 2018 in IRONMAN 70.3 Liuzhou.
2018年4月14日，IRONMAN 70.3 中国赛前第一站在柳州拉开战火，共有七位上海毅力特铁人三项俱乐部的会员参加比赛。
最终，Laurent Sirieix 通过不懈努力，在柳州站赢得了 2018年 IRONMAN世锦赛资格 ，李岩 完成了 人生中第一个 IRONMAN 70.3 ，在为他俩欢呼喝彩时，我们也要为我们所熟悉的 Nguy 夫妇 ( Marie & Huuphoc ), Olivier Derbez, Bin Lin 和 郑文彪 完成他们2018年的 IRONMAN 70.3 首秀而鼓掌。
对了，通过七位SETC队员的不懈努力，我们俱乐部在柳州站赢得 IRONMAN 铁三俱乐部第五组别季军，实在令人欣慰，好赞。
