How to choose a bicycle light?

1.You need know you want to see or be seen? Then you can decide need front light or rear light.

2.Considering the brightness,if you often cycle fast,such as 30-40 km/h,you need a bright front light about 500 lumen.If you cycle not fast,like 15-20 km/h,you just need a light about 200 lumen.

3.Beam angle.If you commute on streets with streetlights, you may want to choose a front light with a narrow-focus beam. On darker roads or trails, you’ll want to go with a wide-focus beam for better peripheral vision.

4.Run Time.Battery run time depends on the light’s battery type, the power of the system and the kind of LEDs in the light.But most rechargeable units have multiple settings,you can choose the suitable mode to ensure your using time.

5.Mounting Options.
Headlights mount onto your handlebar, but many can mount onto your your helmet, too. For nighttime trail riding, you should consider using both types
