Earlier this month, we celebrated the season in style at our annual Christmas Dinner Party at The Langham. Members and their loved ones enjoyed a delightful evening featuring a traditional Western Christmas buffet, free-flowing drinks, and festive vibes topped off with a lively after-dinner DJ. It was truly a night to remember, filled with laughter, great food, and even better company.

As we reflect on this wonderful celebration, we want to take a moment to wish you and your families a joyous Christmas and a season filled with love, warmth, and cheer. Here’s to making memories and spreading holiday magic! 🌟🎅

Last week, SWIC’s Wok & Talk group held their second Christmas Cookie Exchange, and it was a sweet success! 🍪✨ Ladies were invited to put their best cookie forward, sharing an array of delicious homemade treats that weren’t just limited to Christmas themes. The exchange was filled with laughter, and tasty bites, as members celebrated this fun and possibly new holiday tradition. A big thank you to everyone who baked, swapped, and made the event such a memorable gathering. Here's to many more! 🎄❤️

Last Sunday, SWIC held its annual Christmas Bazaar at Terrace, and despite the rainy morning, the crowd came out in full force! Thanks to the hard work of the SWIC board and our amazing volunteers, the event ran smoothly and was filled with festive cheer. A variety of choirs and performance groups graced the stage, spreading holiday spirit with their music. The vendors offered an impressive range of food and products, perfect for getting into the Christmas mood. Guests enjoyed warming mulled wine as they shopped, socialized, and celebrated the season with friends and family. It was a wonderful afternoon ringing in the holiday season, and we’re so grateful to everyone who came out to make it a memorable event!

Last Saturday night Da Diio's transformed into an '80s high school reunion brimming with intrigue for SWIC's murder mystery event! Guests arrived in retro outfits, ready to unravel the truth behind Bobby’s untimely demise. From dissecting clues to debating alibis, the suspense built until the shocking reveal: the unassuming Cindy was the culprit, her motive leaving everyone stunned.
The night was filled with laughter, gasps, and applause as the mystery unraveled, proving once again how much fun SWIC events can be. A big thank you to everyone who joined, and we can't wait to see you at next year’s thrilling mystery!

Hands down, one of our favorite brunch spots! Our recent Bunco Brunch at this cozy Turkish restaurant in Shekou was a perfect mix of great food, laughter, and fun. SWIC members enjoyed a morning of connection and good company in this relaxed setting. With regular activities like brunch gatherings, book clubs, hiking, and more, SWIC is all about building friendships and making the most of life in Shenzhen.
