The structural decisions in a horse barn are mostly invisible — until a winter storm, a hot August afternoon, or a kicking horse exposes them.

✅ Frame specification. Heavy-gauge steel tube, sized to local snow and wind loads. The calculation is climate-specific — a barn in heavy snow country is not the same engineering as one in mild coastal regions. JHORSE specifies loads per project, not per catalog.

✅ Corrosion protection. Three surface treatments: hot-dip galvanizing alone (best for humid climates), powder coating alone (cleaner finish for milder regions), or both together — the standard for barns facing 20+ years of weather. All spec'd in-house.
