Yoga Love Retreats

Time. I've been meditating on this concept. Each moment is a gift. My dear friend came to visit me. She gifted her time in the kitchen...and with me!!! .She planned and shopped for and prepared amazing healing meals for me and my family for 3 delicious days. We enjoyed time hiking and boating and snuggling in a couch and hammock . She gifted time in my kitchen making goodies for my healing when she left.....fermented beets, mamas milk lates, pizza 🎉 party in the freezer and so much more. We sang beautiful divine songs in the forest, next to a river... On sacred ground. We laughed and cried and practiced presence (and yoga!)
I am full of gratitude.
What a powerful and healing gift is time. And food!
When we give our time we give ourselves.
What or who do you give yourself to?

The past months have been a journey. Stage 4 sarcoma, a major surgery, moving to NY, treatment at MSK, and the blessings that come with the journey.... Time with family and friends, watching winter melt to spring in Ithaca, and a trip to the beach with family. Here i am with my daughter enjoying the feel of the sun and sand and her hand in mine.

May this year bring an abundance of health, joy, peace and love. May we bloom from the compost of 2020. What is it that you will leave behind in 2020? What will you bring with you? What do you invite into your life in 2021?

I hope to leave behind the cancer that I was diagnosed with and the pain and suffering it brought me me in 2020. My sarcoma was removed December 6, 2020. I'm currently in recovery. More on that soon.

I would like to bring with me my newfound ability to teach online ( a special thank you to my students) and the presence and gratitude that my diagnosis blessed me with.

I would like to invite vibrant heath and healing, more smoothies, abundance, yoga retreats, travel and lots of loved ones to visit to us in 2021.

Happy solstice. I'm taking pleasure in my garden. The care, weeding, watering and harvest are food for my soul. It has been a dark period of time between autumn equinox and winter solstice for me. Soon I'll share the story. For now I share my lettuce and chard. Much love. May we step into light and blossom with roots deepened by darkness.
