Debido a la emergencia ocasionada por el sismo registrado hoy, que ha afectado parcialmente las telecomunicaciones y el normal desarrollo de algunos procesos operativos en la ciudad, el Comité Organizador del Cali 2026 World Para Athletics Grand Prix informa a la comunidad de World Para Athletics y a las delegaciones participantes que, por motivos de fuerza mayor, se amplía el plazo para el pago de inscripciones hasta el viernes 14 de agosto de 2026.

Nuestro equipo se encuentra bien, y continuaremos adelante con los preparativos de este gran evento con el que Cali se levanta.

Agradecemos su comprensión y esperamos recibirlos en septiembre en Cali para vivir juntos lo mejor del para atletismo mundial.

Due to the emergency caused by the earthquake reported today, which has partially affected telecommunications and the normal development of some operational processes in the city, the Organizing Committee of the Cali 2026 World Para Athletics Grand Prix informs the World Para Athletics community and participating delegations that, due to force majeure, the payment deadline for registrations has been extended until Friday, August 14, 2026.

The Information Package has been published and registration is now open for the Cali 2026 World Para Athletics Grand Prix, the final major international stop of the year on the World Para Athletics circuit. ♿️

For many athletes, this will be a decisive opportunity to compete, pursue new marks, access international classification, and continue building their road to Los Angeles 2028. 🏆
