We all love a good social gathering, right? 🎉 No one wants to be the one with a Tupperware of chicken while everyone else enjoys the party. But let's be real, giving up all the fun just to lose a few kilos? HELL NO!

🎈 We ALL deserve to enjoy life, and that includes good food and fun times with friends and family after a hectic week. So, why do these events become hurdles in our fitness journey?

Here's the game-changer: Put in the hard work outside these events! 💪 Make your week count with focused training and nutrition.

When the weekend hits, chances are you might indulge a bit. No worries! Here's a secret: Calorie banking. 🏦

**Week 1 📆**
Monday to Sunday: 2000 cal/day
Total: 14,000 cal

**Week 2 📆**
Monday to Thursday: 1800 cal/day
Friday: 2000 cal
Saturday: 3000 cal (party time! 🎊)

Here’s one of my favorite transformations I had the honor to coach.

Never mind the amazing 14KG lost in 8 WEEKS, but the sheer fact that he has changed his life and confidence forever!

I still remember the first time I spoke to Tauriq when he told me he wanted to lose weight because he wasn’t feeling confident in his own skin.

He was hating how he looked in the mirror and didn’t even want to take off his shirt.

Being a busy dad time was definitely something that he didn’t have a lot off and going to the gym 2hours a day 6 times a week was not even a possibility.

He didn’t do most of the cooking in the house and this seems also like a challenge for him at that point as it would be hard to eat different then the rest of his family never mind the extra expense to go grocery shopping twice the amount as normal.

With all this in mind we created a program for him that only required him to train 3-4 days out of the week and made sure it fits within his schedule and timeframe to still spend time with his family.

We showed him how to align his nutrition with his goals of losing belly fat and still kept it enjoyable so that he can eat with his family without feeling guilty of sabotaging his results.

The one thing that stood out for me was how consistent he was and always showing up to give his best and work hard. This is one of the most important aspects of achieving sustainable fat loss and achieving your transformation goals - showing up and be willing to give your best consistently.

By making sure that the approach we take fits your lifestyle and goals we make it easier for you to stay consistent and this leads to amazing results.

As a result of all this Tauriq lost an amazing 14KGS in just 8 WEEKS and made a huge change in how he sees himself and his confidence skyrocketed.

Now he is a new confident man that was there all along but he just needs some help with the right approach for him and it all came together beautifully.

2023 is looming.

You have two routes you can go down next year…

The first route is to commit to your ‘new year new me’ physique NOW, but actually see it through this time.

That means no faddy diets or 3 weeks of jogging in January, followed by a drop in motivation and then finally quitting.

Instead, you start a fitness routine and stick to it...

Cut 5, 10, even 15kgs of bad Christmas weight in a month…

Gain newfound confidence because of the physique you’ve started creating…

And then discover how to sustain those results to continue losing body fat and gaining lean muscle.

The second route leads to nowhere.

You don’t commit, wait until January to hit the same old panic button, and ultimately a month later realise you’re in the same position as always.

5 THINGS I WISH I KNEW BEFORE

If I could go back in time, I’d tell myself

1) There’s a HUGE difference between "training" and "exercising. "Training" is a systematic approach with daily trackable components. It may be slightly boring Sometimes, but it’s NECESSARY for quick gains and results.

2) That my ideal body type takes a great deal of commitment to reach, but it doesn’t take nearly as much to maintain. I stressed about this way more than necessary.

3) I wish I had measured a weeks worth of food when I first started for several reasons. First, to just understand which foods have more carbs, fats, or protein. Second, to truly understand what the hell I was eating in regards to my goals.

4) No supplements will ever compare to doing those extra few reps you don’t want to do in the gym. The extra hour of sleep you know you should get. Or just simply tracking your food.

5) You can’t screw this up in the short term. Drinking, eating like s**t, not working out, etc… Are such SMALL issues it’s insane. It’s way better (and healthier) to think of your results as a week to week or month to month checkpoint. NOT A DAILY ONE. Which is easy to say… HARD to do. I know.

P.S. Stop 'exercising' and start 'training.'

Why do you get a tutor to teach you a new language?

To be able to help you learn a new language.

Why do you get a financial advisor?

To help you with with your finances.

Why do you get a coach?

To help you look and feel amazing.

They are all different but the principle stays the same.

To help you get from A to B faster.

was that person that decided he wanted to get from A-B a bit faster and see more results that he have been seeing in the gym the last few years.

He has been training for quite a bit of time and he felt like he wanted to elevate his physique and take it to another level.

So after talking to Fanie and doing a full consultation and looking at where we can make improvements I gave him all the tools that he needed to get to that next level.

The training Regime, Nutritional Game Plan and Lifestyle targets.

All Fanie had to do is execute the plan.

Now I am not going to tell you that that its easy and everything is rainbows and flowers.

It is going to be hard work, the investment into yourself has the same principal as the Language tutor and financial advisor.

You need to put in the work.

And that is exactly what Fanie did.

In the last few months he has seen more results that he has seen in the last 2 years.

Now he is more confident in the gym and he has less body fat and are more muscular than ever before.

The goal for me is to provide all our rockstar clients with the right tools that will work specifically for them to get the results and giving them the support to get there and make it last for a lifetime.

How to enjoy social events and still see results.

Social events is something that we all have on a weekly basis. And lets be honest, everyone wants to go and enjoy them and not be there with chicken breast and broccoli in a container while everyone else is enjoying the braai. But because you are trying to lose weight you cant join in on the fun.

Let me ask you honestly if you are willing to completely give up all that just to drop a few kilos?

Most of us will say HELL NO!

We all deserve to enjoy having fun with friends and family and just wind down after a long week.

But why is it that these social events are one of the main reasons we don’t see results?

How can we lose weight and enjoy life?

The answer is: We need to work very hard outside these events.

Put in the extra work during the week with your training and nutrition and give yourself the best chance to progress towards your goal.

When you have a social event chances are you will over consume on your daily calories.

For starters, lower your daily food intake throughout the week if you have an event coming up on the weekend.

If you eat a little less during the week leading up to the weekend you will have some spare calories to use on the weekend.

So the average will still ad up for your weekly calories total. We call this calorie banking.

Week 1
Monday - 2000 cal
Tuesday - 2000 cal
Wednesday - 2000 cal
Thursday - 2000 cal
Friday - 2000 cal
Saturday - 2000 cal
Sunday - 2000 cal
Total calories for the week: 14 000 cal

Week 2
Monday - 1800 cal
Tuesday - 1800 cal
Wednesday - 1800 cal
Thursday - 1800 cal
Friday - 2000 cal
Saturday - 3000 cal
Sunday - 1800 cal
Total calories for the week: 14 000 cal

Yes you may wake up heavier on Sunday, but come Tuesday, due to your calories consumption being lower throughout the week there wont be any difference than if you would have had the same amount of calories for each day 7 days in the week. But you would have missed out on a fun event and probably be mentally worse off because you couldn’t go.

Make sure to have fun in this proses and still enjoy life.

1. Poor sleep
Sleep is our main daily reset. There is a reason why we spend a third of our lives sleeping. But we can neglected it.

Sleep is the time when our bodily systems cleanse, rejuvenate and recover. IF we allow them to work their magic.

Unfortunately because of our modern lifestyle of poor light, lack of exercise and movement, excessive food and lack of fresh air and nature is all killing our sleep.

We need to prioritize sleep as its a big necessity for our health.

2. High stress
We have exponentially increased our mental stress and eliminated physical stress.

We are built to move but add a lot of mental stress constantly in the absence of physical stress/movement and it causes a disproportionate environment suitable for the formation of illness and disease.

3. Poor Nutrition
Let’s be honest. We can find high calorie dense with poor nutrient dense foods everywhere these days. Now what does that mean.

Food that is high in calories but doesn’t supply our body with good nutrients to recover and build.

This added to not moving enough or not physical exercise is making us fat, weak, driving up estrogen and killing testosterone.

Modern day food is too easy to come by and men are falling victim to the “busy” trap and making choices of convenience rather than choices of energy and vitality.

4. Lack of movement
Movement is life.

Your body and brain NEED daily movement.

Simple movement like breathing and walking, and complex movement like play and exercise that allows for new neural pathway formations in the brain should be part of our everyday lives.

The lack of either of these means you are more likely to move into rapid aging and closer to illness and disease.

The benefits of movement far exceeds only the physical appearance and translates into upgrading every cell in the human body.
