After six years of creating experiences around the world, we keep coming back to this week. It’s where A Week Awake was born.

Designed for long sessions in the water, it features a removable neck flap for extra protection when you need it, and converts into a classic surf cap when you don’t. Lightweight, quick-drying, secure in the waves, and made for endless days chasing swell.

Designed by surfers, tested in Costa Rica, and ready for wherever the ocean takes you.

Julie decided to welcome a new decade by choosing joy.

As she stepped into her 60s, she wanted to do something completely out of her comfort zone. She chose our retreat, hoping it would be the place to begin this new chapter.

The first few days weren’t easy. Her mind told her she couldn’t. Her body felt limited. There were moments of doubt and frustration.

But she kept showing up with the greatest attitude.

And then one morning, everything clicked. She stood up on her board, and it wasn’t just about surfing anymore. It was about breaking through the stories she’d been telling herself about what she was capable of.

Watching Julie discover that version of herself was one of the most beautiful moments we’ve shared.
