After over 24 hours of rainfall the biggest flood in 50 years has hit Nosara.
This morning many residents woke up to pictures and messages from neighbours and firefighter coordinators that help was urgently needed to rescue several people from their flooded homes. In some cases, people had tied themselves to posts to avoid being swept away in the stormwater. Emergency rescues began in the middle of the night to save several from flooded homes
