Dear Orienteers,

Kup Srema in Šid is just around the corner, and we’ve gone the extra mile to make this weekend truly unforgettable! Alongside the exciting trails waiting for you, we have curated a unique cultural experience exclusively for our participants.

On Saturday, March 21st, immediately after the first race (at 14:30), we have organized a joint visit to two world-class gems located in the very heart of Šid:

🌟 "Ilijanum" Museum of Naive Art
This is no ordinary museum. The work of Ilija Bašičević Bosilj is a global phenomenon, perhaps even more celebrated in international art capitals than here at home. His paintings are prized pieces in world-class collections, including those of icons like Sophia Loren and the Rockefeller family. He is officially ranked among the 50 most significant artists in the world of naive art.

Entrance fee: A symbolic 100 RSD.

🎨 "Sava Šumanović" Picture Gallery
Following our visit to Ilijanum, we enter the world of one of the greatest Serbian painters of all time. Sava’s masterpieces are the pride of our culture, standing shoulder to shoulder in quality and beauty with the works found in the Louvre or the Prado. We are incredibly lucky to have world-class art right on our doorstep, just a stone's throw from where we'll be competing.

Price: Free entry for all race participants!

These artists are true global ambassadors of our culture. It is the perfect opportunity to complement a day on the trails with a stroll through art and history. These museums are the pride of Šid and a destination for visitors from all over the globe. An opportunity like this doesn't come often—be sure to take advantage of it!
