CRECEN LAS RELACIONES DE AMISTAD CON LA COMUNIDAD NÁUTICA DE NUEVA ZELANDIA

Con el establecimiento de relaciones de amistad y colaboración con la institución náutica Island Cruising, de Nueva Zelandia, y nuestro Club Náutico Internacional Hemingway de Cuba; crecen y se fortalecen los vínculos amistosos con la comunidad neozelandesa.

Los vínculos de amistad y colaboración entre nuestras dos instituciones se inician con la promoción de nuestro Club Náutico en Cruise News, publicación de Island Cruising, mientras, en nuestras redes sociales, usted recibe la invitación de Island Cruising a participar en el Pacific Rally Sail to New Zealand, el venidero mes de octubre, y que se inicia en la isla de Tonga con escalas en Fiji, Vanuatu y Nueva Caledonia.

CONTINÚA EL RECONOCIMIENTO DE LA COMUNIDAD NÁUTICA INTERNACIONAL AL CLUB NÁUTICO INTERNACIONAL HEMINGWAY DE CUBA

El Sr. José María de Oliveira, Director de la Asociación Nacional de Cruceros de Portugal, visitó el pasado fin de semana la sede del Club Náutico Internacional Hemingway de Cuba con un mensaje de amistad y reconocimiento para el Comodoro Escrich, Representante en Cuba de esa asociación crucerista portuguesa. Esta es la segunda visita del Sr. De Oliveira a esta institución náutica cubana desde que el Comodoro Escrich representa en Cuba a la referida asociación crucerista portuguesa, con sede en Lisboa.

La Asociación Nacional de Cruceros de Portugal, fundada el 2 de enero de 1996, reúne alrededor de 1000 veleros y más de 4000 marineros. Esta asociación crucerista tiene como objetivos desarrollar la vela de crucero en sus aspectos deportivo, social, cultural, de formación náutica y de seguridad en el mar, desplegar la clase en los distintos puertos deportivos del país y defender los intereses de los miembros como propietarios de embarcaciones que necesitan equipos complejos, mantenimiento, seguros, marco legal y estructuras de apoyo portuario.

El Sr. De Oliveira quiso tirarse una foto en la entrada del Club donde aparecen placas y diplomas de varias instituciones náuticas del mundo que reconocen a nuestro Club Náutico como su Representante, entre las que se encuentra la placa de la Asociación Nacional de Cruceros de Portugal.

THE RECOGNITION OF THE INTERNATIONAL NAUTICAL COMMUNITY CONTINUES TO THE HEMINGWAY INTERNATIONAL YACHT CLUB OF CUBA

Mr. José María de Oliveira, Director of the National Cruise Association of Portugal, visited the headquarters of the Hemingway International Yacht Club of Cuba last weekend with a message of friendship and appreciation for Commodore Escrich, Representative in Cuba of that Portuguese Cruise Association. This is the second visit of Mr. De Oliveira to this Cuban nautical institution since Commodore Escrich represents the aforementioned Portuguese cruise ship association, based in Lisbon, in Cuba.

The National Association of Cruises of Portugal, founded on January 2, 1996, brings together around 1,000 sailboats and more than 4,000 sailors. This cruise association has the objectives of developing cruising sailing in its sports, social, cultural, nautical training and safety at sea aspects, deploying the class in the different marinas of the country and defending the interests of the members as owners of vessels that need complex equipment, maintenance, insurance, legal framework and port support structures.

Mr. De Oliveira wanted to take a photo at the Club's entrance where there are plaques and diplomas from various nautical institutions in the world that recognize our Yacht Club as their Representative, among which is the plaque of the National Cruise Association of Portugal .

ARRIBA EL CLUB NÁUTICO INTERNACIONAL HEMINGWAY DE CUBA A SUS 28 AÑOS DE FUNDADO

Este jueves 21 de mayo, el Club Náutico Internacional Hemingway de Cuba, “Santuario” del amor al mar y a la amistad entre las personas que aman el mar y “Bastión” en defensa y rescate de la historia y las tradiciones náuticas cubanas, arriba a sus 28 años de existencia con la inmensa satisfacción de haber logrado establecer relaciones de amistad y colaboración con centenares de instituciones de la comunidad náutica internacional y agradecido por el privilegio de ostentar la representación de las más importantes asociaciones de cruceristas y pescadores, así como haber sido acogido como miembro de decenas de estas instituciones; rompiendo con esto el aislamiento de Cuba con esa comunidad.

Durante estos 28 años, muchos han sido los eventos náuticos y académicos realizados y que nos han permitido compartir con representantes de la comunidad náutica de decenas de países, contribuyendo a la amistad y el respeto entre personas de diferentes credos, ideologías y status social, pero a los cuales el amor al mar los une.

En su labor de contribuir al rescate de la historia y las tradiciones náuticas cubanas, el Club Náutico Internacional Hemingway de Cuba continúa en su empeño de estrechar sus vínculos de colaboración con el sector náutico, marítimo y portuario cubano, para lo cual ha celebrado y apoyado la organización de eventos y actividades académicas, con el objetivo de contribuir al rescate de la “cultura del mar” en nuestra nación.

Hoy, el Club Náutico Internacional Hemingway de Cuba se siente muy orgulloso de estar constituido por una familia de 3506 miembros de 73 países, muchos de los cuales nos han hecho llegar mensajes de solidaridad, esperanza y optimismo en medio de esta pandemia que nos ha traído mucha tristeza, desgracias y temores, pero que también nos enseña de lo importante que es la solidaridad y el amor.

Múltiples eran las actividades que habíamos previsto para celebrar este 28 cumpleaños, pero por las razones conocidas, las mismas han sido canceladas o pospuestas. Esperamos, en los próximos meses, retomar algunas de las actividades náuticas que nos permitan disfrutar el placer de navegar, pescar y soñar en un mundo mejor.

Hoy el deber es cuidarnos y cuidar a los demás.

THE HEMINGWAY INTERNATIONAL YACHT CLUB OF CUBA ARRIVES AT ITS 28 th YEARS OF FOUNDATION.

This Thursday, May 21th, the Hemingway International Yacht Club of Cuba, "Sanctuary" of love for the sea and friendship between people who love the sea and "Bastion" in defense and rescue of Cuban history and nautical traditions, arrives at its 28 years of existence with the immense satisfaction of having managed to establish relationships of friendship and collaboration with hundreds of institutions of the international nautical community and grateful for the privilege of holding the representation of the most important associations of cruising associations and fishermen, as well as having been welcomed as a member of dozens of these institutions; breaking with this the isolation of Cuba with that community.

During these 28 years, many nautical and academic events have been held and have allowed us to share with representatives of the nautical community from dozens of countries, contributing to friendship and respect between people of different faiths, ideologies and social status, but to whom the love of the sea unites them.

In its task of contributing to the rescue of Cuban history and nautical traditions, the Hemingway International Yacht Club of Cuba continues in its efforts to strengthen its collaborative ties with the Cuban nautical, maritime and port sector, for which it has celebrated and supported the organization of academic events and activities, with the aim of contributing to the rescue of the "culture of the sea" in our nation.

Today, the Hemingway International Yacht Club of Cuba is very proud to be made up of a family of 3506 members from 73 countries, many of whom have sent us messages of solidarity, hope and optimism in the midst of this pandemic that has brought us much sadness, misfortune and fear, but it also teaches us how important solidarity and love are.

There were multiple activities that we had planned to celebrate this 28th birthday, but for known reasons, they have been canceled or postponed. We hope, in the coming months, to resume some of the nautical activities that allow us to enjoy the pleasure of sailing, fishing and dreaming of a better world.

Today the duty is to take care of ourselves and take care of others.
