ES• Sistema SideMount es una configuración de equipo de buceo que tiene los cilindros de buceo montado junto al buceador, debajo de los hombros y a lo largo del cuerpo, con una conexión al arnés a la altura de la cadera, en lugar de en la parte posterior del buceador. Comenzó como una configuración popular entre los buzos avanzados, para pequeñas secciones de cueva que podían ser superadas debido al bajo perfil que ofrece este sistema y a la fácil gestión de los cilindros ( botellas ) en espacios reducidos. Los mismos beneficios para operar en espacios reducidos también fueron reconocidos por los buceadores técnicos que realizaron las penetraciones de buceo en barcos hundidos.

EN• SideMount System is a scuba gear configuration that has the scuba cylinders mounted next to the diver, below the shoulders and along the body, with a connection to the harness at the hip, rather than on the back of the diver. diver. It started out as a popular configuration with advanced divers, for small cave sections that could be overcome due to the low profile this system offers and the easy management of cylinders (bottles) in tight spaces. The same benefits to operating in confined spaces were also recognized by technical divers who conducted wreck dive penetrations.
