fun fact: frogfish don’t actually swim like most fish. 🐸🐟

they use their modified fins like little legs to walk along the seafloor… and when they do swim, they can move by gulping water through their mouth like a jet engine.

the crazy part? they’re masters of camouflage. you can literally swim right past one without realizing it was there.

When the ocean suddenly turns into a living tornado. 🌪️🐟

thousands of masbangu moving as one, twisting, turning and trying to stay together while predators circle around them.

this is a baitball of bigeye scad — and yes, this was right here in curaçao. 🇨🇼

you can watch underwater videos all day… but nothing compares to being surrounded by one.
