Nazario Martijn was more than a swimmer. He was a coach, a mentor, and the founder of Typhoon Swimmers, with a vision to help raise the level of swimming in Curaçao. 🏊‍♂️🌊

Today, that vision continues through a new generation of athletes ready to step onto the blocks, compete, grow, and push themselves further.

From September 24–27, the legacy continues at the Nazario Martijn Championship 2026.

We are incredibly proud to share that Zinha Falbru has been selected for a World Aquatics Open Water Swimming Scholarship!

Out of swimmers from around the world eligible to apply, only 20 open water swimmers were selected , and Zinha is one of them !

Zinha will travel to France to begin this incredible opportunity, continuing to learn, train, and grow as an open water swimmer alongside some of the best in the sport.

A huge thank you to the Curaçao Aquatic Association for their support, guidance, and for believing in Zinha throughout her swimming journey

Our team showed up, raced hard, and delivered an incredible performance during the Orca Just Keep Swimming Master Competition:

A huge congratulations to our artistic swimmers Yaqil Alberto and Ziva King for bringing home two bronze medals from the C.A.C. Games!

Yaqil started things off with a fantastic bronze medal in the Men’s Solo Free. 🥉

The very next day, Yaqil and Ziva teamed up in the Mixed Duet Free and once again stood on the podium, winning another bronze medal! 🥉

Two days, two medals, and so much to be proud of. These results are a reflection of the hard work, commitment, and courage it takes to compete at this level.

Yaqil and Ziva, congratulations! You represented Curaçao with pride and gave us plenty of reasons to celebrate. 🇨🇼
