Your Dive Center & Snorkel Shop at Playa Porto Mari — Curaçao’s most beautiful beach for diving, snorkeling and a relaxing day by the sea.

We are a friendly and relaxed 5* dive center on Curaçao's prettiest beach. Our team of multilingual dive instructors and divemasters is always ready to share their passion and knowledge of the underwater world with you. We teach everything from introduction dives to professional divemaster training in a range of languages such as Dutch, English, French, Spanish and German. Our staff is able to teach a broad range of specialties too, including drift, night, lionfish, PPB, search & recovery, nitrox, deep, wreck, dive against debris, fish ID, sidemount, self-reliant diving, underwater photography and adaptive techniques. We also support independent divers with tanks and weights and our brand new TUSA rental gear. We also have a beach shop where you can buy or rent snorkel gear, dive accessories, Williwood T-shirts and beach essentials. The main brands we carry are TUSA and Mares. WHEN NATURE SURPRISES YOU🌊🐢 ✨

Last week, witnessed something truly magical: once again, a surprise loggerhead nest began to hatch🥹🐢. And once again, we were blessed to witness one of nature’s rarest and most beautiful moments💚✨.

But this story has a very special hero💪🏻⭐.

A young girl was the very first to notice that something extraordinary was happening🐢✨. Instead of simply watching, picking up the hatchlings or trying to carry them to the sea, she and her parents immediately went to get help🙏💙.

And that matters more than you might think💭. Although it may feel right to help these tiny turtles by picking them up and placing them in the ocean, interfering can actually put their survival at risk. They need to emerge naturally, make their way across the beach and begin their journey to the sea themselves🌊🐢.

Because this family did exactly the right thing, almost the entire nest made it safely to the ocean🌊✨. 115 little heroes began their first journey toward their forever home succesfully🤩🐢💙.

This is exactly why we do what we do together with 🙏🏻❤️. To protect, educate and raise awareness — so people know not only how to help, but also when to step back🌱🐢.

To this incredible girl and her family: THANK YOU🙏💚! You didn’t just help save a remarkable surprise loggerhead nest. You set an example of how to treat these fragile little lives with respect, care and love🐢❤️✨.
