Thinking about change doesn't change your life.
For a long time, I genuinely believed that if I thought about something enough, I'd eventually feel ready.
More research.
More preparation.
More certainty.
But here's what I've actually learned.
Thinking about a decision only changes the direction of your thoughts. It doesn't move your life in reality.
And sometimes the stories we tell ourselves keep us even more stuck.
You forget something, and suddenly it's "I'm so disorganized."
You make one mistake, and it becomes "I'm a failure."
You get rejected once, and you decide "I'm not enough."
One moment becomes an identity.
But moments aren't identities.
Thoughts aren't facts.
You are not the voice in your head. You're the one deciding whether to believe it.
👇🏾 What's one thought you've been attaching to your identity lately?
"I always..."
"I'm the kind of person who..."
"I could never..."
Tell me below.
Save this for the next time your mind tries to turn a moment into a definition.
Stop negotiating.
Start choosing.
And choose forward.
