About Dive Center Pietermaai
Dive Center Pietermaai is looking for an enthusiastic and professional PADI Dive Instructor to join our team at our 5-Star PADI Instructor Development Center (IDC) resort in Curaçao.
Located in the heart of Pietermaai, our dive center offers an exciting and varied working environment, with the opportunity to work at both our Pietermaai and Lagun locations.
We are an all-round dive operation where no two days are exactly the same. From teaching a wide range of PADI courses to guiding shore and boat dives, our instructors enjoy a diverse schedule and the opportunity to share Curaçao’s incredible underwater world with divers from all over the world.
We keep our diving personal and high-quality, with small groups of a maximum of six divers per instructor.
The Position
As a Dive Instructor, you will be responsible for providing safe, professional and enjoyable diving experiences to our guests and students.
Your responsibilities will include:
Teaching a wide range of PADI courses, from beginner to professional level where qualified.Conducting guided shore and boat dives.Leading dives while maintaining the highest standards of safety and customer service.Conducting dive briefings and debriefings.Preparing and maintaining dive equipment and ensuring equipment is used safely.Completing student paperwork and course administration accurately.Providing excellent customer service and creating memorable experiences for our guests.Working closely with the rest of our dive team.Helping maintain a positive, professional and fun atmosphere within the dive center.Working at both our Pietermaai and Lagun locations when required.
What We’re Looking For
We are looking for someone who is:
A PADI-certified Dive Instructor in good standing.Passionate about diving and enjoys sharing that passion with others.Professional, reliable and safety-conscious.Comfortable teaching a variety of courses and working with divers of different experience levels.Friendly, outgoing and confident working with international guests.A strong team player who enjoys working in a dynamic environment.Flexible and willing to work at different locations around the island.Able to work independently while also contributing positively to the team.
Additional PADI certifications and experience are an advantage.

Important Visa Requirement
Due to local island employment regulations, applicants must hold either a Dutch passport or a US passport to be eligible for this position.
