It’s good to have friends with toys. 🤣🤣

Today was a very good day. Cruising around the Zenobia on a DPV and honestly I’m not sure I ever want to go back to finning. Why work when you can fly? 😎😎

172 metres of shipwreck and for once I actually covered all of it. ⛴️⛴️⛴️

There’s something about seeing the Zenobia at speed that gives you a completely different perspective. The scale of her hits differently when you’re flying along the hull rather than slowly finning past it. Already one of the most extraordinary wrecks in the world and somehow a DPV makes her even more impressive. 🤯🤯

What does your dive actually cost me? Let me break it down. 😎

Because I see the looks sometimes. The raised eyebrows. The “is it really worth that?” And honestly, I get it. On the surface it just looks like someone taking you for a swim. 🤷😂

But let’s talk about what’s actually going on behind the scenes. 👇

⛽ Fuel. The truck doesn’t run on air.

🚤 Boat fees. And the boat doesn’t drive itself.

🫧 Tanks. Filled, lugged, rigged, rinsed, and done again tomorrow.

💨 Nitrox. Because you deserve the good stuff.

🛡️ Insurance and instructor fees. Because professionalism costs money and cutting corners isn’t something I do.

📷 Camera. Underwater housing, maintenance, editing, and making sure you actually look good down there.

⏰ Time. The planning, the prep, the driving, the kit washing, the admin. The stuff nobody sees but everybody benefits from.

🧠 Years of training and experience on one of the most complex wrecks in the world. Not cheap.

💸 Tax. Because unfortunately that’s very much a thing.

☕ Coffee. Because none of the above happens without it.

I mean that. I’m not the biggest and I’m not the cheapest. If that’s what you need, no hard feelings. 🤷
