It has been a while since we last posted here. Not because nothing was happening, but sometimes it feels good to spend less time on social media and more time on the water. 😉

Over the past few months, we have been working on something exciting — a complete rebuild of the Cyprus International Sailing Club website.

And honestly, what a time to be building websites! With modern AI tools, the process has become faster, more flexible, and far more enjoyable. No endless design meetings, no lengthy briefs, no months of back-and-forth between designers, developers, and testers.

So, what’s new?

⛵ **A completely redesigned Events Calendar**
Book and pay for club activities directly through the calendar using Stripe.

🛍️ **New Sailing Shop**
Club merchandise and much more are now available for online purchase.

🏆 **Corporate Regatta Calculator**
A powerful tool for corporate clients that generates detailed event budgets, schedules, and regatta plans automatically.

📅 **Online Event Booking**
Many of our events can now be booked and paid for online in just a few clicks.

🌍 **Bilingual Website**
The website is once again available in two languages, making it easier to serve our international community.

In short, there are plenty of new features and improvements, and we are only getting started.

One interesting question we asked our AI assistant was:

**How long would a project like this normally take?**

**With AI-assisted development:** approximately 20–40 hours of active work, including discussions, reviews, design refinements, and content updates.

**Traditional development approach:** approximately 80–150 hours, covering design, front-end, back-end, integrations, and testing.

Comments, suggestions, feedback, and bug reports are always welcome.

The best part? Making updates is now easier than ever. 😉
