Congratulations to our teacher Alina on taking 2nd place in Balboa! 🥈✨
We’re so happy and proud to celebrate this little achievement! 💃🕺
But what is Balboa? 👀
Balboa is a swing dance that originated in Southern California in the 1920s. It is known for its elegant style, close connection, incredibly fast footwork and lots of energy. ⚡️
The steps are small and precise, but the dance can be surprisingly fast and dynamic. It looks smooth and effortless, while your feet are working very hard! 😄
Balboa is all about rhythm, connection, musicality and that unique combination of elegance and energy. ✨
