Στο Παγκύπριο Πρωτάθλημα Γυμναστικής, η ομάδα των κοριτσιών μας έλαμψε πραγματικά σε όλη τη διοργάνωση!
Με εξαιρετικές εμφανίσεις, κατέκτησαν την 1η θέση στο ομαδικό, ενώ παράλληλα πέτυχαν πρώτες θέσεις σε όλα τα όργανα, αποδεικνύοντας το υψηλό επίπεδο δουλειάς, ταλέντου και αφοσίωσης.

Cyprus Gymnastics Federation Awards 2025

With great pleasure and honor, our absolute champions in Men’s and Women’s Artistic Gymnastics were awarded for their tremendous achievements this year. Our gymnastics club, Melissanides, continues to make us proud with outstanding results at both European and World level.

A special recognition goes to our great champion Neofitos Kyriakou, who achieved 1st place at the World Cup in Hungary, along with many remarkable performances across Europe and worldwide.

We are equally proud of Kyriakos Markides, the rising star of Cyprus gymnastics, who is already chasing his Olympic dream with determination and passion.

Our women’s team, along with the new generation of talented gymnasts, has shown incredible potential, proving that the future of Cyprus gymnastics is bright and full of promise.

One of our great champions was unfortunately absent due to injury, keeping her out of competition this year — but she remains strong, determined, and ready to come back even stronger.

I would like to thank the Cyprus Gymnastics Federation for organizing these awards. At the same time, I believe that recognizing coaches — the behind-the-scenes and often hidden heroes — is something valuable that was appreciated in previous years and should continue, as they play a vital role in building these champions.

A big thank you to our club, Melissanides, for giving our athletes their identity and foundation.

Special thanks to AppleGym Sports Center for providing the best environment and opportunities for our athletes to grow, train, and chase their dreams.

I would also like to express my deepest appreciation to our coaching team, Denis Ioannou and Ivania Gregoriou, whose teamwork, dedication, and spirit make all of this possible.

Finally, heartfelt thanks to the parents of our athletes — your endless support, love, and belief are the true foundation behind every success.

We promise you that your efforts will never go to waste, and we will continue working for an even brighter future for your children.

The journey continues… and the best is yet to come!
