The World’s Best Compete at EMU

The 8th edition of the tournament, organized in memory of the late wife of Josef Rothenfuhl — founder and name-giver of the International Footballtennis Federation (FIFTA) — is being held this year in Famagusta.

The world’s top male and female singles athletes will compete in the event, which will kick off on Friday at 10:00 at the EMU Lala Mustafa Paşa Sports Hall.

A total of 28 athletes will participate in this major tournament, which offers a prize pool of 20,000 USD and stands out with its high level of excitement and sporting quality.

The matches will begin on Friday at 10:00 and conclude with the finals to be played on Saturday, also at 10:00.

The tournament, which receives significant international attention, is also expected to make an important contribution to the sports tourism of Northern Cyprus.
