Au fil des années passées à enseigner, rechercher, animer des événements culturels et travailler avec des communautés artistiques diverses, j'ai observé un constat récurrent :

Beaucoup apprennent la technique.

Beaucoup apprennent les mouvements.

Beaucoup apprennent les rythmes.

Mais peu comprennent réellement le contexte culturel qui leur a donné naissance.

La danse et la musique ne sont pas seulement des formes de divertissement.

Elles sont également des vecteurs de transmission, d'identité, d'éducation, de mémoire collective et de cohésion sociale.

C'est cette réflexion qui a inspiré l'écriture de Dance Music Cultures : Rythmes, Racines & Pratique.

L'ouvrage explore notamment :

Chers membres de la communauté Tropical Dance Escape, artistes, amis et participants,

Après mûre réflexion, et en raison de l’instabilité et du conflit actuels dans la région entourant Chypre, nous avons pris la décision difficile mais responsable de reporter l’édition 2026 de Tropical Dance Escape Holidays, initialement prévue du 3 au 11 octobre 2026.

Cette décision a été prise uniquement par prudence, responsabilité et par souci de la sécurité, du confort et de la tranquillité d’esprit de toutes les personnes concernées.

Bien que Chypre reste une destination sûre, nous pensons qu’une expérience de vacances réellement relaxante et joyeuse doit aussi permettre à chacun de voyager et de participer sans inquiétude ni incertitude.

💛 Notre priorité a toujours été l’humain avant tout.

Nous savons que beaucoup d’entre vous étaient impatients — préparation des vacances, demandes de congés, choix des tenues, réservations des packages et envie de partager des moments inoubliables ensemble.
