Swimming pool liners are simple devices that help to protect the floor and walls of a pool. Available in various of designs and models that are constructed for use with in-ground as well as above ground pools, the liners are often made of a highly resilient vinyl or other synthetic material. The object of the pool liner is to extend the life of the pool by preventing mold and other forms of damage to occur to the pool itself.
Pool liners are usually part of the installation process that takes place when the pool is put into place. The liner is usually secured to the interior sides of the pool using a series of fittings along the edges of the pool. As part of the installation process, the pool liner is also sometimes installed with the use of water-resistant adhesives that allow the liner to adhere to the construction of the pool.

Tiles:
A tile is a manufactured piece of hard-wearing material such as ceramic, stone, metal, or even glass, generally used for covering roofs, floors, walls, showers, or other objects such as tabletops. Alternatively, tile can sometimes refer to similar units made from lightweight materials such as perlite, wood, and mineral wool, typically used for wall and ceiling applications. In another sense, a tile is a construction tile or similar object, such as rectangular counters. The word is derived from the French word "tuile", which is, in turn, from the Latin word "tegula", meaning a roof tile composed of fired clay.
Tiles are often used to form wall and floor coverings, and can range from simple square tiles to complex mosaics. Tiles are most often made of ceramic, typically glazed for internal uses and unglazed for roofing, but other materials are also commonly used, such as glass, cork, concrete and other composite materials, and stone. Tiling stone is typically marble, onyx, granite or slate. Thinner tiles can be used on walls than on floors, which require more durable surfaces that will resist impacts.
Mosaics:
Mosaic is the art of creating images with an assemblage of small pieces of colored glass, stone, or other materials. It is a technique of decorative art or interior decoration. Most mosaics are made of small, flat, roughly square, pieces of stone or glass of different colors, known as "tesserae", but some, especially floor mosaics, may also be made of small rounded pieces of stone, and called "pebble mosaics".

Vanishing edge pools:
Vanishing edge pool is a swimming or reflecting pool that produces a visual effect of water extending to the horizon, vanishing, or extending to "infinity." The pool becomes essentially, part of the view. The illusion of a vanishing edge is achieved by lowering the pool’s back wall to create a water’s edge that is the same level as the water in the pool. The overflow is caught in a catch basin below the main pool and the water is re-circulated. The infinity pool design concept is said to have originated in France. One of the first vanishing edge designs was used in the “Stag Fountain” in the early 1600’s at the Palace of Versailles. Often seen in exotic resorts and exclusive estates, the Infinity edge swimming pool design has become a popular residential trend for many homeowners seeking to create their own outdoor paradise.
Overflow pools:
Overflow swimming pool design incorporates the infinity-edge look but differs in that the design allows water to spill over all four sides. Like the infinity design, the water that flows over the sides of a perimeter-overflow pool is collected in a hidden catch basin and recirculated. Some perimeter-overflow designs include elevated edges that spill into a catch basin below while other perimeter overflow designs sit the pool flush within the deck with the overflow spilling into a narrow hidden catch basin underneath.
This elegant style of swimming pool is often described as mirror-like. Perimeter-overflow allows water to pour in a thin sheet over the edges resulting in a smooth and reflective surface. While this is a stunning visual effect, construction of this type of swimming pool design is complex and requires advanced knowledge of hydraulics and swimming pool construction techniques

Skimmer swimming pool is the most common swimming pool choise. The skimmer operates in conjunction with the pool's filtration system. As the water circulates, large debris from the water's surface enters the reservoir of the skimmer and collects in the removable basket. To clean the skimmer, simply remove the basket, dump the contents and reinsert the basket. Perform this process routinely, especially when larger items such as leaves appear in the basket.
On an in-ground pool, the skimmer is installed on the wall of the pool located near the suction pump. It then works in tandem with the pump. On an above ground pool, the skimmer is installed on the outside wall of the pool with a faceplate on the inside. A pipe runs between the filter pump and the bottom of the skimmer.
